Art manifested itself in Jennifer’s childhood, in what others would refer to as “an artistic flair”. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Canada in a family full of creatives, Jennifer was constantly surrounded by music, poetry and visual art.
Early occupations led Jennifer to explore her artistic abilities, by becoming a Red Seal Chef and even creating and selling intricately designed cakes. However, art subdued somewhat once she became a mother and got a corporate job.
Art is in her bones, so it was hard to keep her from creating. Once Jennifer’s son was older, all her energy shifted once again, and she surrounded herself in art. Joining the Calgary Sketch and Painting Club, The Federation of Canadian Artists and the FCA Calgary Chapter, Jennifer continues to grow in her craft.
